Report A Bullying Incident
At Capital School, we are committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students. We recognise that bullying can have serious impacts on both the emotional and educational experiences of children.
To address this issue, we have 3 clear reporting procedures
- Through your child's teacher. This way is often to most effective as having direct communication with the teacher means you are speaking to the person who is with them every day.
- Via the School Counsellor/Reception. It may be the School Counsellors are already working closely with your child, in which case bringing an incident to their attention may be the course of action you feel is the most appropriate.
- Using the 'Report It!' form on our website. This is to ensure that whether it's the weekend, evening or school holiday, there is always an avenue to communicate and raise concerns with the school. The information gathered will go directly to school and can be dealt with swiftly.
These procedures underpin the work we do in school of educating and making pupils more aware of bullying and the impact this has. Our monitoring systems and communication with parents is key in ensuring we have an understanding of the whole child and how best to support them. ️
Together, we can create a positive school culture where every child feels safe, valued, and respected. Thank you for your support in making our school a better place for all students.
