Welcoming New Families for AY 2026/2027
Capital School Bahrain is now accepting applications for Academic Year 2026/2027. We welcome pupils from Pre-Nursery (FS1) through to Year 12, following the British National Curriculum. Here is everything you need to know to apply.
Step 1 — Submit an Enquiry
The first step is to complete our online enquiry form. Our admissions team will contact you within one business day to discuss your child's year group, available places, and next steps.
Step 2 — Book a School Tour or Open Day
We encourage all prospective families to visit the school before applying. You can attend one of our scheduled Open Days or book a private tour. Seeing the school in action is the best way to decide if Capital School Bahrain is the right fit for your child.
Step 3 — Complete the Application Form
Once you are ready to proceed, you will be asked to complete our online admission form and submit the following documents:
- Passport copy (child and parents)
- CPR copy
- Most recent school reports (last two years)
- Transfer certificate from previous school (if applicable)
- Vaccination records
Step 4 — Assessment (All Applicants)
Every child who applies to Capital School Bahrain takes part in an age-appropriate assessment. There's nothing to worry about here — the purpose is simply to understand each child's current level and learning style, so we can place them correctly and plan the right support from their very first day.
What the assessment looks like depends on the year group:
- Early Years (Nursery and Reception): There is no exam at this age. Children are gently observed on their readiness for school, with a focus on communication skills, language development and social behaviour.
- Year 1 and Year 2: The same friendly, observation-based approach — our teachers look at communication, language and how your child interacts and engages.
- Year 3 and above: Students sit online entrance assessments covering Mathematics, English and non-verbal reasoning, followed by a brief written activity.
Please note that a non-refundable assessment fee of BD 50 applies, payable once your child has been shortlisted.
Step 5 — Offer and Enrolment
Once the application is reviewed and a place is confirmed, you will receive a formal offer letter. A registration fee is required to secure the place. Our team will guide you through the remaining paperwork and prepare your child for their first day.

We follow the standard British year group structure:
